What kind of people are members of the SCN Family?
People who believe:
- No child should go hungry;
- No sick person should be abandoned;
- No woman should be beaten;
- No person should be hated because of race, religion or culture;
- No one should abuse the earth’s offerings.
We in the SCN Family are a group of
people who have banded together because
we believe in the same things. We have
lots of family members: men and women
who assist in ministries, alums, contributors,
volunteers and employees. At the heart of the
family are the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth (SCNs), who
have taken vows and dedicated their lives to God.
What makes us all part of the SCN Family is that
we truly care about people. We speak the truth
about injustice and prejudice and we care for
the earth. We put our resources, sometimes
even our lives, on the line. We're ordinary
people, young, old, women, men, and vowed
religious - all bonded together by love. Together
we can do extraordinary things.
